There are plenty of solo players who thrive just fine, but It's a tough game / mod to master.

Like ACAB suggested, joining a group that works well together will help you a lot. Both in learning how to play and getting you started.

Other than that, I'd recommend watching some youtube video or live streams of Exile. You can pick up a lot of tips and tricks from watching others play.

More importantly, just hang in there and tough it out. Some days will be rough, some days will be good.

Sounds like you're talking about forcing the terrain detail to high/ultra to always enable grass. That is the only way to fix the issues where you can see players behind mountain tops or players getting sucked into the ground at a distance.

As of now, we have no plans on forcing the terrain detail.

Do you use the ingame saturation or something like Reshade, or is it all done in editing?

Only to kill some Aliens.

It's been there forever and not a lot of players have said they want it removed, so it's probably not going to be.

Looked pretty good. My only complaint is turn the crosshair off. That would have made it 100x more cinematic. 

If a flag is stolen and not replaced after 3 days it will be deleted.

Sadly at this time, there are no plans to open a new server or increase the number of players (will cause performance issues)

You can always purchase premium to get a reserved slot. If that's not your thing, I suggest noting when the restarts are so hopefully you can get in as soon as it occurs. Also if you're able to play in a few hours the population usually drops off a bit.

If they are the ones I am thinking about they are a default part of the Altis map. There are far too many of them to easily remove them if it's even possible.

It may or may not be possible to remove them, regardless that won't be happening. Sorry to disappoint.

Post some suggest mods and Rosco would be happy to check them out and see if could be used here.
