You got outplayed 100% , you could be right about the engagment thing being unclear but still people destroy/steal any vehicle that was parked in the no-pvp zone everyone has been doing that for ages , you parked your vehicle there it's your fault , might aswell parked inside the trader and tried to get on quicker than everyone else or even sold it before restart.
