Could another option be implemented eg you must sit at the laptop for 15 seconds per 5 minutes or so to "activate" the laptop instead of a radius type arrangement?

This guarantees someone must go to the laptop in x amount of time but also means you do not have to sit at the laptop - better for smaller groups

Look at peak times, there are only 4/5 maybe 6 people trying to join who don't have VIP. No way enough to fill another chernarus server?

Or implement a hot key for it and have an option for scroll wheel also

At distance ARMA sinks you into the ground to emulate grass with grass enabled

+1 the map looks more naff without the grass and you basically can't hide now if you aren't in a pine tree

If I may add a mod suggestion, it would be Enhanced movement, just due to the fact, the amazing parkour skills basically, and being able to climb up on buildings. Which would make pvp more suspense. But, I also know that many server do not like the mod, because apparently it makes it easier for people to glitch into other's bases....(or so i've been told)

I played on a server also with this mod and it helped a lot with the experience

Yep I agree with Jim it can be genuinely useful

However personally I most of the time can't be arsed to change name at all as I use A3Launcher lol
