Interested in such a question of balance, now, on the server there is Alamut, which sends to the next world any car with 1 hit. Any armored vehicles become useless without a thermal imager, for it is simply unrealistic to notice a person in the trees, but he can easily see the equipment (it makes noise and it is very large) and calmly destroy it. Now it’s commonplace that no one rolls armored vehicles, because it’s daragaya and useless (slow, noticeable and dying from 1 person with RPG, which is impossible to see without a thermal imager)

There are people on the server who can drive around in HMG\GMG vehicles for a long time without getting killed, you just have to play careful with it, this is not a militarized server thats why the balance is what it is, and thermal will never be added.

 

People would just put them on top of a base and use it to spot for someone sniping from the base.
