  1. 1. These are our 2 options. This is only when added, not when promoted on the territory.

    • Keep the territory rights as they are

We've talked about the territory permissions and what it grants you and doesn't grant you when added to the territory. Right now simply being added allows you to move/remove baseparts. But doesn't allow you access to the virtual garage or the convenience of not typing in codes for your base doors. In our eyes being able to move parts in a territory without being promoted is a risk when befriending new people on the server.

So we want to know what the community think and if an option you think is better that isn't listed here, then feel free to leave a reply and we'll take it into our consideration as well.

Rank 1 should be just basespawn

Rank 2 r1 + vg + doors

Rank 3 r2 + move parts

Would be the best option if theres the posibility to add multiple r3s

Otherwise r2 = all of it, r1 just base spawn

IMO

What about making a simple website with steam api login that connets to the servers database and you can see the territories you are in or own, you can see all of the members and able to remove them or add them by using their steamID 64, and that you can custom-set the permissions for them - What I mean is, that, you will be able to set the specific permissions for each territory member or maybe script more ranks  if possible instead of 3 which currently are Pleb, Moderator and Owner? Also, the website would list all of the data from your virtual garage - cars, codes, et cetera. There are a lot of things you could do just by simply exporting & printing the data from the database.

Thats a bit too much don't you think? Half of the stuff you've listed can already be done via the discord bot btw.

For now we want to spend as little effort as possible since we are busy working on the upcomming server/mod update (lots of goodies in there).

Nothing needs to be changed it was just an idea we had to make a use out of the 2 ranks.

This is issues relating to random groups. Team up with people you trust and you don't have to worry about these issues. Add a bunch of randoms because you want to outnumber people then you this comes with no pun intended the territory

I thought the ability to move objects was only granted to promoted territory members, if not, then what do promoted members get that non-promoted members don't?

At the moment non promoted have the permission to build.

Moderators can build, open doors without codes and access the virtual garage.

This is a good idea, I play in a small group and one big reason we haven't added any new members is the fact that as soon as we add someone they could just remove our towers and walls ect and go sell everything. With this option it gives small groups a chance to get to know someone and see if we trust them before giving them access to everything. The more options given to territory owners the better in my opinion.

As we already said, there are currently only 2 ranks and it can't be changed with little effort.

For now there is only room for a quick change, means you have to decide inbetween the given answers.

If the community wishes more ranks, I'm sure we can sort that out to a later date ?
