  3. Added:

    • Tagging
      • This brand new feature allows you to spray-paint objects with different pictures. This form of creative vandalism will stay for 2 days for premium players and for the restart for everyone else. We might reduce the premium duration if we believe it's too much.
      • Press Ctrl+P to open the menu (If it's not working press Tab, then press Reset All. You can also set a custom keybind in the Tab menu.)
      • We will update the SG Mod again shortly to add more tags. If you already have a family uniform we will add your logo/picture for free. Just open a ticket. Needed format is 512x512 PNG or PAA, transparency is possible.
    • The Snipex Alligator
      • This Anti-Material Rifle chambered in 14.5x114mm packs a punch and closes the gap between the KSVK and the NTW. It was custom-modeled and skinned from scratch by FakeDeath. Check out the awesome gold version!
    • New Models such as:

  5. Weapons:

    Fixed:

    • Corrected some spawn locations for CDF reward vehicles
    • fixed a bug that resulted in the "Trigger Happy" XP perk giving players the double amount of bonus mags for kit ranks 1-4

  6. Changes for the Wipe of April 2023:

     

    Weapons:

    • Middle tier spawn weapon has been changed to a silenced MP5 (from PDW)
    • High tier spawn weapon has been changed to the Kovrov AK (from M27)
    • The Navid+Ammo has been removed from Black Market. You can still get it through missions or in the rad zone.

     

    Rules, Building and missions:

     

    • The max building height has been increased by 5m (30m to 35m).
    • The safe/container height limit has been removed.
    • Safe rooms must not be made from glass building parts (single quick access safes on a glass roof etc. are fine, just don’t overdo it. Our staff will judge this grey area at their discretion.)
    • Safes must be accessible on foot from ground via doors/hatches at all times. (e.g. if every door/hatch were without a lock you must be able to walk into the safe room from ground level. You can still stack the doors/hatches if you want to.)
    • Concrete mixers are now limited to 3 per territory
    • You are not allowed to block passageways with concrete mixers
    • Charges: amount of Big Mommas needed to destroy a concrete mixer has been increased from 5 to 10 to make grief raiding harder
    • Charges: Wood/Metal/Concrete charges can no longer be sold on the inmate market
    • Grinding: battery consumption increased from 4 to 5
    • Grinding: time increased from 7 minutes to 10 minutes (5 to 7 with full perks)
    • Grinding: now has a small chance on failure to completely jam the door/lock for the restart (You'll need to blow it up to breach it in that case)
    • Grinding: batteries can no longer be sold on the inmate market
    • Thermal scanner: can no longer be sold on the inmate market
    • Thermal scanner: increased trader sell price to 5k poptabs
    • Thermal scanner: reduced charges from 5 to 2
    • Territory: you can now only move safes when they are empty (prevents a bug that despawns all content or drops it on the ground)
    • Territory: container limit has been lowered to a range of 2-15, depending on the level (was 20. Might help a tiny bit with overall performance.)
    • Territory: upgrades for level 6 and above are now more expensive
    • Territory: increased sell price and restore cost for stolen flags for levels 6 and above
    • Territory: reduced the amount of Virtual Garage slots you get with each territory level. Level 10 now caps out at 15 Slots. You can get back up to 40 by buying slots from the office trader.

    General Gameplay and missions:

    • The base poptab value for mission crates has been doubled (base value * players online = crate poptabs)
    • removed SMAW from mousewheel scroll menu
    • added new button in XM8 that shows the no-build-zones on the map (May lag 1-2 seconds when generating markers for the client)
    • added an actual “Clip of the week” Winners reward uniform. Previous winners will get added to it.

     

    Premium:

    • Premium players now have a button in their XM8 to spawn an airdrop containing high value loot. Everyone can contest that airdrop. (Currently needs a minimum of 25 players online, one airdrop total per restart, can be triggered once per two weeks per player. We will monitor and adjust these values if needed.)
    • Added massive amounts of new skins for uniforms/weapons/spawn kits for premium players - check out the #exile-gfx channel on our discord (Thanks Soggy and NipNaps)
    • Free players are now limited to two slots at the loadout trader
    • Free players are now limited to five slots at the inmate market

    The wipe will happen on Friday 6th of May at 3PM (UTC)

    Tomorrow basically

     

    The wipe is for both Chernarus and Altis!

    Everything is being wiped. Nothing is staying!

     

    We have some changes to come. A changelog was posted here.

    The [SG] Mod will need to be updated, that will also update before the wipe giving people time to download it.

  9. Weapons

    • NEW: re-added the M134D "Epilator" to the game. Brrrrrt. Where? Find out yourself.
       
    • CHANGE: removed the minimum activation range for the 3GL
    • CHANGE: the suppressed M320 uses a different sound
       
    • FIX: the RPG-7 does no longer fit into a backpack


    Building, crafting and territories

    • NEW: added new item: Concrete half wall
    • NEW: added new item: CCTV-Screen on a tripod, as an alternative to a base laptop
    • NEW: improved the building system with more and better snap points
    • NEW: The "flag room must be a clean 1x1" rule is now enforced by a script
    • NEW: added multiple new textures in the misc category to paint your base with (needs premium)
       
    • CHANGE: Base owners can no longer abandon a territory while it is in raid mode
    • CHANGE: Base owners can no longer remove objects in their territory while the flag is stolen

    General gameplay, Vehicles and other stuff

    • NEW: added new vehicle service menu to repair, refuel and rearm vehicles. Useable at most traders and fuel stations. The old scroll wheel entries have been removed.
    • NEW: added new Vehicle XH9 VTOL
    • NEW: you can now see the throttle level in your hud, e.g. in the blackfish
    • NEW: you can now disarm mines with a foolbox. This takes 5 seconds and you can pick up the mine you just defused. To be able to defuse mines laid out by dispensers you also need a mine detector.
    • NEW: added scroll wheel action to take weapons off the ground. Should fix not being able to loot weapons from bodies sometimes.
    • NEW: you can now change the leader of a party without recreating it.
    • NEW: you can now reset your XP perk points at every Office Trader. The cost is 4k poptabs per level.
    • NEW: added XP perk: Bad Driver. Increases the collision damage resistance of your vehicles wheels
    • NEW: added XP perk: Gotta Go Fast. Increases your walking and running speed.
    • NEW: added XP perk: Trigger Happy. Increases the amount of ammunition you spawn with.
    • NEW: added XP perk: Frag Enthusiast. Increases the amount of grenades you spawn with.
    • NEW: added XP perk: Field Surgeon. Allows you to use instadocs on your teammates.
    • NEW: added XP perk: Survivalist. Reduces your food and drink consumption.
    • NEW: added scroll wheel action "Flag Info" that can be used on a flag pole when that flag has been stolen.
       
    • CHANGE: the maximum XP level has been raised to 200
    • CHANGE: some of the stronger vehicles can no longer shoot when located inside of a territory
    • CHANGE: increased the max amount of family map markers to 40
    • CHANGE: changed airdrops: AI-controlled invincible planes now drop them. They may contain better loot.
    • CHANGE: re-enabled packing of karts and quad bikes in enemy territories.
    • CHANGE: the offroad repair truck has been removed from the traders
    • CHANGE: reduced the amount of countermeasure flares of most armed or heavily armored vehicles to 60
    • CHANGE: 3D-markers now get slightly transparent when you aim directly at them
    • CHANGE: the early morning time setting has been re-added.
    • CHANGE: added colors and re-sorted some of the scroll wheel actions in safe zones
       
    • FIX: tweaked 3D-markers, they no longer mark objects that are very close to you such as bushes, trees or walls.


    Missions

    • NEW: added several new missions, including STRONG TONK
    • NEW: added new abandoned territory event/mission that appears on the last restart before a territory would despawn due to a stolen flag that hasn't been restored
    • NEW: added new CDF mission for Altis. The old or new CDF will randomly spawn at restart.
       
    • CHANGE: tweaked details of most existing missions
    • CHANGE: CDF now has a few new surprises in stock
    • CHANGE: The reward vehicles for the CDF mission are now hidden until the mission has been finished

    ALTIS

    • New minimum build distance to AAC safezone: 2500m

    BOTH

    • The new "Fuel Station Robbery" and "Landed Spitfire" missions are regarded as static missions (You're not allowed to camp it from your territory).
    • You are not allowed to place objects (e.g. walls) in a way that allows the territory owners to vault or jump over them while attackers can't. (because of anti-glitch mechanics)
    • All players that previously received a hard 7-Player family limit have a clean slate again. Please keep in mind that we will monitor the servers and take action if needed as always.

    Most likely someone just scanned your locks and opened the safe.

    Oh and if you have the possibility to open a ticket on discord that would make things easier. ?

  15. I know about the hotkeys, but they don't help in most of these situations. You usually have to choose between not seeing anything because of grass or seeing the enemy but not knowing if you can actually shoot them or if they are behind a mountain ridge (or not seeing them at all because they are sunk into that mountain ridge). ?

  16. So... since having low terrain without any grass is an option i'm pretty sure 99.9% of the players use it. Having no grass is fine, but low terrain details create players/NPCs/Vehicles that glitch into mountains or that float in the air at medium to longer distances.

     

    Is there any chance of removing (or cutting) the grass while being able to keep terrain details on Ultra? Server Side that is.

    I know there are some options revolving around this, mainly in the clutter class. I once played on a server that had the grass cut down really low so it didn't interfere with shooting when prone. That might still have been ArmA 2 OA though.
